Cloud IX Foils Warranty Policy

Cloud IX Foils is proudly operated by KMMO Industries Pty Ltd (Australia). Cloud9SurfFoils Inc. (USA), has ceased trading in June 2025. Cloud IX Foils is an independent company operating under new ownership and management in Australia.


1. Products Covered

This warranty applies to all products purchased directly from Cloud IX Foils or an authorised Cloud IX Foils dealer after the brand’s relaunch under KMMO in July 2025.

Products sold under the former Cloud9SurfFoils brand are not covered by this warranty, as that company is no longer trading. However, Cloud IX Foils may, at its sole discretion, offer goodwill assistance for legacy Cloud9 products, such as repair services or discounted replacements, to support loyal customers of the brand.


2. Warranty Coverage

All Cloud IX Foils products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

This warranty covers:

  • Structural integrity of carbon components
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or bonding
  • Hardware and fittings supplied as part of the original product

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, impact, accidents, or modifications
  • Damage from improper installation, transport, or storage
  • Environmental or UV-related degradation
  • Damage other than manufacturing defects in material or workmanship.
  • Damage caused by failure to properly maintain and care for the Product and its components.
  • Chips, dings, scratches, surface marks and cosmetic blemishes.
  • Damage caused by the use of any cleaning products.
  • Damage caused by use of the Product outside its intended purpose.
  • Damage caused by use of improper hardware, improper installation or improper tightening of hardware. This includes damage caused by loosening or tightening using power tools.
  • Seizing, rust and corrosion of hardware.
  • Damage from natural causes, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and storms.
  • Any Product that has been modified or repaired.
  • Any Product that has been used with any third party parts.
  • Any Product used for commercial purposes (including rental).

3. Warranty Claims Process

  1. Provide proof of purchase from Cloud IX Foils or an authorised dealer.
  2. Email info@cloudixfoils.com with a description of the issue and clear photos.
  3. Our team will assess the claim and, if approved, arrange repair, replacement, or credit at our discretion.

All warranty decisions are final once reviewed by the Cloud IX Foils technical team.


4. Legacy Cloud9SurfFoils Products

Products manufactured and sold by Cloud9SurfFoils Inc. (USA) before KMMO’s relaunch in July 2025 are not covered by this warranty. The original Cloud9SurfFoils entity has been dissolved, and KMMO did not assume liability for its prior warranties or debts.

Cloud IX Foils may still offer goodwill support where possible — including discounted replacement parts or repair services at cost — as a gesture of appreciation for previous Cloud9 customers.
